I bought this to have assorted rivet nuts on hand. It is nice to have an assortment just in case you do not know what size you need. These rivets have held well and were easy to install.

I've been buying these from McMasterCarr for years, but was hoping to save some $$ at Amazon since I use a lot of these.To my dismay there are no specs besides thread size listed. Seller would do himself and Everyone else a favor to publish a chart with specs--especially the length! Here they are for the size I use:McMaster: Aluminum Heavy-Duty Rivet Nut, 10-24 Internal Thread, .020"-.130" Material Thickness, Drill Size 19/64, Length .475, Top Flange Dia. .415 & thickness .030.Amazon: 10-24 Internal Thread, would think same .020"-.130" Material Thickness, Drill Size is a little loose at 9/32, Length .475, Top Flange Dia. .400 & thickness .040.I installed about 40 of these yesterday. Overall, the Amazon nuts did fine. I was concerned because the ribbed collar area is pretty shallow and smooth compared to the McM parts that have much more "bite" and a tighter fit to the hole (maybe a metric drill bit would match Amazon part better?). The diameter actually Decreases a couple thousandths in the ribbed area! But when installed they did not want to rotate/spin when tightening machine screw in them, so hopefully they will hold just as well. The upper flange is a little thicker which I don't like. See photos above--shiny part is the Amazon part. Hope this helps someone...

Good quanity and assortment for this buy. I feel its always good to have an assortment of these for the occasional need.

Works as described. Great to use in blind hole situations where you cant access the other side to use a nut.

There's no catalog photo or size table listed on the container which means you need to take your bolt/screw and insert it until you find the right one. Once you do, of course, you can use a permanent marker to mark that position. Moreover, the 10-32 and 10-24 seem to fit a bit looser than I would like. So, in the end, not so great, but kinda gets the job done.
