DXOPHIEX 15inch Dual Reptile Light Fixture
DXOPHIEX 15inch dual reptile heat lamp fixture is made of 0.8mm thickness aluminum. It is well polished to make sure very good reflective effect. The 0.8mm thick aluminum makes it very strong, sturdy and not easy to get hot. It can be equipped with two bulbs up to 150W at same time. You can control each bulb by the separate switch. I love this lamp! Reminds me of the Pixar lamp lol. It was easy to assemble, has a couple of choices for the heights, and has functioned relatively well. I use it to light up my indoor plants with a grow bulb. I have two complaints however, one of the screw things that keeps it locked in place, has wore down. So my lamp is now permanently stuck downwards. Sometimes I can get it to be me more upright, but it eventually will lower back down from the weight of the lamp/bulb. But before the screw thing wore down, it kept any position I put it in. The second complaint I have is that I personally find the base of the lamp ugly. It works well to anchor everything down, it has good weight in it, but it’s a rectangle that protrudes and while I can hide that part under some furniture or something, I think I would have preferred a different looking base. But I’m happy with this lamp, I really like the aesthetic.

I had purchased this lamp to go in a bio active enclosure for my ball python. When I set it up I noticed one side was not getting power. I didn’t install it right away and the 30 day return window had passed. I reached out to the seller and Yan took good care of me and sent a replacement. To me that is excellent customer service! Quality is good, especially for the price, size is nice and provides heat distribution well.

From the day I received this lamp fixture I have had constant issues with it. Originally it turned on for maybe 10 minutes and then would not turn back on. Eventually I got the cord adjusted to get the thing working for a few days until I Got home to the lamp giving off the most foul burning plastic smell. So so so dangerous. This thing Constantly just shorts out and refuses to work. If I could give negative stars I would. Literally the biggest piece of junk I've purchased on Amazon BY FAR. DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU LIKE THROWING YOUR MONEY IN THE TRASH!!

Lamp doesn't come with bulbs or clear instructions on what kind to use. The posting says 40W, but the package says 50W. I'm pretty sure I can't put regular bulbs in it, because they aren't meant to give off heat. I see a lot of different kinds of heating bulbs. I hope I ordered the right ones 🤷
