These recorders were fine. I bought this package and an extra single unit to practice with. We were planning on using them for our Christmas in July party but we thought they were too hard to play for those with no musical training or background even with the beginner book I purchased. Great for those with some talent or an instructor but not so good for our intended use.

I'm a music teacher, and I bought these for my third grade classes. The price was awesome, and they're fine as a solo instrument. However, they are 1/2 step sharp, so they can't be used in combination with general classroom music instruments like xylophones.

These are the worst sounding recorders I’ve ever had to come across. Do NOT purchase these if you are looking for quality sound.

The recorders looked great, came with a cleaning stick. Although these recorders can double as a whistle they are off tune. When playing the notes recorder sound is much higher than it should be.
