I have a P-channel seal on my garage door. I bought this so I could replace it. It did arrive coiled up so the seal was flat instead of round, however, I didn't think that would be an issue. I figured it would get it's shape back once warmed up. Unfortunately, I did havr to return this because the P bead was too small for my reseal retainer. But thar is because I have a very old garage door and I'm not even sure they make the size I need anymore. I had to reach out to a garage door company to see if they could order what I need.But even though I had to return this, I thought that it was good quality and if my garage door retainer wasn't such an odd size, this would have been perfect for me.

Product arrived as promised. Unwrapped and rolled it out on the hot driveway. The rubber O-profile is flattened out due to being tightly rolled. Kept in the sun, was about a 100 degrees that day. Took about an hour to regain its shape. Had to make some adjustments to the mounting channel on bottom or door, was a little too loose. Used a set of channel lock pliers to close the gap the full length of door. Inserted the rubber, fits great. If installed when it’s cooler outside, bring inside house or put in hot tub of water. Just needs some good heat to regain its shape. Bought for two doors, 9’ and 16’ looks great!

Ordered this item over others because of the advertised thickness and it was received as advertised. Similar to other reviews, the item was received rolled up and flattened; however, after letting is sit in the sun for a few hours it became more pliable and took on a round shape. Installation was easy after removing the channel bracket from the garage door and feeding the p-bulb from the side of the channel (not pushing it into the channel). With the assistance of some soapy water, I was able to slide the seal into the channel on a double garage door in less than 5 minutes. It seals the door well and is a suitable replacement to the worn/damaged one on a 25 yr old garage door.

Very hard to fit at the bottom of Overhead Door S281, garage door doesn’t fully close when finished installing and just keeps going back up. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy this if they want it for Overhead Door S281

This product was fairly easy to install on a two car garage door. It did take 2 people though- one to feed in into the groove and another to pull along the door. There were a few times it would get stuck and would require a little back and forth, but was eventually able to get it all through.Downside is it is very very stiff and I worry about durability with sun exposure. It would not open/flatten when door was lowered so we were unable to lock the door. After a couple of months, it loosened a little and was able to lower more with a small circle opening, but still not all the way so there is still some gaps between floor/door and we are still not able to lock down. We are hoping the snow melt will not enter the garage now since it hasn't flexed enough to close properly.Not sure how long it will take for product to become flexible enough to allow the door to fully close, but this is important to know if you are going to buy.

This worked well as a replacement. Because of the way it's folded/packaged we did have to manually close the garage door and let the pressure of the door help reshape the piece. After a couple hours the shape came back and it is working.

Where everything seems overpriced these days I was very happy to find the exact piece that I needed and for it to be cheap. Came in a nice tightly round roll and easily slipped onto the bottom of my garage door with some help of grease to slid in. Happy to have found exactly what I needed with my type of garage door. Was easy to cut with kitchen scissors to my exact length.
