We installed a Ring Doorbell, not too long ago. I got the Ring version that can connect to the existing doorbell wires so you don't have to charge it.The rechargeable battery on the Ring Doorbell kept dying. I had to take the thing off the wall and bring it in to connect to a wall charger about once a month.Finally I found this product. I was able to find the wires for the doorbell in the basement next to the furnace. Sure enough, the wires where just hanging there. NO wonder the Ring wasn't charging.I bought this item, connected the wires, plugged it in, and Voila! It has held a 100% charge since that day!Super easy, and it works!

I had a similar transformer that ran more hot. This runs cooler.
