Replaced existing doorbell transformer (10V) with this 16V transformer. I couldn't use the included connector because it only allows connecting 3 wires from wall to 3 wires of the transfer (which is probably standard), my wall had two white and two black wires twisted together already which had to be connected to transformer wires. Using different connector bought at Home Depot I connected the wires easily and cleanly. The transformer felt bit heavy but maybe they get they get heavier with voltage.The lights on my Arlo doorbell was blinking while/orange for almost an hour before becoming solid white. This was due to internal battery being charged, not because there was anything wrong with voltage (as per the manual, the light will be either completely off or solid orange, if transformer doesn't provide enough voltage).

Easy to install and runs the Ring Pro 2 okay. I really liked the WAGO style wiring connector, it beats wire nuts any day.

Having a ring door bell and with a new build I was finding I had to charge it almost every week! With this adapter- no more charging because it provides enough power!!! Easy install for the hubby too!

I picked up one of these to get my Nest doorbell to work. It works now, happily recording video 24 hours a day, ringing our doorbell chime, and alerting all of our smart devices when someone rings the door.After watching a few YouTube videos, I mustered the courage to give this installation a try. With a little guess work, I found the existing transformer near our gas furnace. It wasn’t a comfortable experience. The existing box was pretty old, and tugging out and identifying which wires go where isn’t exactly easy. After I thought I got everything hooked up, it wasn’t working. 15 minutes with an electrician later, and it was up and running. Turns out I had missed one of the connections.Unless you have some experience installing electrical hardware, I’d leave this to the pros.

Wanted a new transformer because my Ring doorbell was not charging. None of the stores had one that fit into the outlet box. Slightly longer but that’s because it was higher VA. My Ring still doesn’t charge but at least I’ll be good with a new doorbell.

This is a large transformer compared to what was installed by my builder. I had to modify the electrical box to get this to fit in there...outside of that, it does exactly what I need it to do.

Transformer failed continuity test upon arrival and does not work. This product is junk and I recommend you do not buy one.

The regular transformers for doorbells aren't strong enough in older homes. Once installed the RING DOORBELL worked right away, and I can't tell you how happy I am.

My old transformer was 26 yrs old and stopped working. I have a couple of doorbell cams and heard the old transformers can’t hold up. Bought this and it got installed yesterday. So far so good. Hope it lasts as long as my other one did.

We needed more power for our Google Nest Doorbell so we chose this transformer because it said it would work with the Nest, and sure enough it does. Reasonably priced, it came carefully packaged with everything you require for installation. We turned off the electrical panel power and did the swap (one transformer for another) with no issues. The important takeaway, this transformer has sufficient power for a Nest Doorbell.

I was excited to find what seemed like a replacement that would work. My original transformer was 30 years old so when it started buzzing I didn't worry much. It was easy to install, looked a bit bent but they all seem to be that way and no issues with install - and it worked. Until it didn't. The buzzing started and the only way to fix it was to take down the chime...
