I wanted a better light in my small laundry room for a while but I didn’t want to have a lot of hassle with installing. I had seen socket fans but not a black one . This one is so cool, it is easy to insert the blades , that’s it with assembly!Now , when I turn on the light switch the super bright light I need comes on , I could download an app to control the fan and even more light temps and strengths but there is thankfully a remote too . I can set a timer for 2 hours and the fan will turn off .The customer service response is prompt and knowledgeable, will explain patiently to a non tech savvy customer how the WiFi comes into play . I thought I had to connect to WiFi in order for the fan to recognize the remote .. Nope! I don’t even need the app, woohoo. I need the remote so I keep it close by . I find that I mainly just use the light switch (the first time the light switch is turned on , the light is on the brightest whitest light which I adore cause I need a lot of light , and I use the remote to set a timer to air out that room a little when it’s hot and stuffy . It isn’t like a real ceiling fan ,don’t expect it to cool large areas , best used in small areas . Perfect for a small hallway, shed , closet etc.Perfect , I got a super bright light and a fan now and was able to do it all in a matter of minutes and it looks nice as well! I don’t think the fan is loud but mine makes a slight noise but my fitting is so old I think it’s that . Got better light and moving air and the no cost install done by yours truly 😆. I haven’t tried out the socket extender but I am glad it matches the black fan . Oh and again, the seller cares about customer satisfaction which is worth an extra star to me .

This is a light and fan that spans almost 18" and it doesn't require any wiring, you just screw it into a light socket just like you would a light bulb. I couldn't believe how easy it was to do. It also provides much-needed air movement in my back office where the air conditioner didn't quite cool well enough. The fan is ultra quiet and the light provides more than adequate overhead lighting.

So far so good, but I hope it lasts at least as long as the bulb. Speaking of bulbs, it is bright. the remote is pretty easy to master. This is perfect for small space air movement.Can recommend.

These style of light is great for illuminating a work shop, attic, basement etc…. and are easy to install as a standard light bulb, just unscrew old light bulb and screw in this one, as simple as that!This light has a fan added to it which is a great idea to get some air moving. I installed this in a small room which really needs some air movement when it gets warm. Now this fan is not going to move a lot of air its blades are two small but it does move a lot of air for the size of the blades. As far as looks it does not look high end but decent for the priceThe remote works well and as you can see in the picture you can:• Adjust the fan 6 different speeds• Brighten or Dim the light• Change the light color temperature from various setting depending if you want a warm or daylight look• Has timer ability to stay on 2 or 4 hoursOne thing to note the socket you are screwing this into has to be stable, the fan can go pretty fast so if the light socket has some wiggle then the fan/light is going to really start wiggling if you turn the fan on.For the price I am happy with the item, can speak of longevity yet but if I run into issues I will update the review

This Socket Ceiling Fan Light is pretty cool! The blades are small and easy to attach AND get a really good amount of air blowing. We had some water on the floor in a downstairs utility room, the fan did a good job of drying the floor below. The fan does have multi speeds, too.The light is amazingly bright when first turned on, luckily, the brightness can be adjusted along with the color of the light through the different shades of white. All this is done with a really nice remote filled with options.There is an extender that can go into the socket for a lower hanging light. I think this fan/light is especially great for basements that have lower ceilings where you want the air movement without so much blade "in your face" ~ which, BTW, seems to disappear with the high speed!Great fan/light!
