Great Quality, worked flawlessly. So far I’ve drilled 3 3†holes and all 3 went right through the concrete walls with little effort on my part .

The tool is very well made. However, the pilot bit keeps falling out of the arbor due to vibration. I had to replace the set screw with a longer screw and a lock nut. It work great! The case latches broke the first time I used it. I had to put a steel latch on the case. All in all it is a good tool for the price.

This product is an amazing value for the money. Very well made and versatile. Goes in the bosch bulldog or the big Hilti. The shafts are the common sizes for most hammer drills. Also they fit in any chuckless drill or hammer drill combo. Im so happy with this set.

this kit drilled much better than I had hoped it would for this price. The bits are much beefier metal than a regular hole say, it cut Fairly cleanly through Faux stone for me, especially considering that it was an interrupted cut across several stones. Don't try it with a wimpy drill though, the 2"er stripped out the gears of my good Makita Hammer drill

The only problem is the guide bit doesn't stay tight and stops you from making any progress but if you stop frequently to tighten up the bolt that locks down the bit so a little bit of a pain.Once you're deep enough to be able to remove the guide bit it works pretty well.

If you get a few holes out of this set, you're ahead of the game. Yes, you can bore through an 8" masonry wall. No, it won't be that smooth. So far I've drilled a 1.25" hole for a hose bib and a 3.125" hole for a vent fan through 8" of brick masonry. Here's the issues:The pilot bit will not stay in the drill chuck. The set screw loosens and will probably be lost. This is because overall, the quality of the threading throughout is poor. The threading on the chuck is very poor and the coring bit flops around until it bottoms. Also getting a bit off is a pain. I had the best results starting my hole at a slight angle without the pilot bit like drilling through a stone counter or tile. Once I had a semicircle groove in the brick I could slowly straighten up. Once you've got a quart inch or so into the masonry you can drill straight with less flopping/walking of the bit. BUT!!!! be advised than the hole you end up with will be larger than the bit by 1/4" or so due to the bit bouncing all over inside the hole.

Just drill a 12 inches hole in pretty soft old concrete. Went great but the core lost 2 of its 5 cutting teeth in 5 minutes… It seems it also damaged a little bit the thread cause it was harder to remove. Would not recommend but gave 2 stars cause it did work at least once
