Great buy! I needed to cut 1-3/4 holes in 6061 T6 aluminum plate and the previous saw, a bimetal conventional hole saw cut way undersize and plugged up too much with aluminum swarf. I really wanted a carbide annular cutter but they're really expensive, especially the carbide ones When I saw these I decided to try them. The price was tempting, at 1/4 the cost of a single annular cutter and you get 12 pieces in a nice plastic case. The shank is stepped and rather than chuck the small hex, I measured the large part and found that it fit a 20mm collet perfectly. With that setup in a rigid mill drill and the work piece clamped down, it cut smooth and clean. Not quite a mirror finish but nearly so. Long curley swarf was still a problem and continuous cutting isn't possible if you want a good finish and avoid welding aluminum to the carbide inserts. The technique that worked for me was to take light cuts, raising the cutter every 10 seconds or so with a vacuum nozzle next to the cutter. Maybe using cutting oil would help but I cut it dry. It took about five minutes to cut a hole but it was worth the time. The hole diameter is only 0.008" oversize, quite precise for a hole saw.

We had purchased a single hole cutter for a specific cut and it was so flimsy that it immediately bent. In looking for a better quality one I found this set so we decided to try it. Very happy we did! We've now used several of them and they worked great.

These aren’t too bad for the price. The case is nice, the blades all seem centered when put on the arbor. Seems like pretty sturdy metal that should get a few uses each out all the different sizes. My only gripe is they don’t include the Allen wrench for the drill bit removal or tightening.

Decent little hole saw set. Not super fast to mount on the chuck of drill, but nothing terrible. Flimsy steel hole sets, but teeth are sharp enough for drywall and wood. The pilot drill was slightly out of round, but not unusable. Overall decent value for the money.

I had some older hole saws that are the same as I just purchased. My old ones have been used a lot and still work, but needed some new to make my job faster. Great product for the money.

I used these on a carbon fiber hood. Very thin metal, they wobble when you use them. But I still manage to finish the job. Plate has a crack on the teeth. For the price you it’s alright.
