Had a tough time finding a downcut 1/8 O Flute without dishing out the money for a top brand, but these bits have come through nicely. Also bought the 1/4" version. Have made cuts on both acrylic and Armorite (really stable/dense MDF) and the finished edges have been fantastic with both bits. I loaded the feeds/speeds in for top brand bits, then dropped the IPM just a bit. The downcut really helped keep my small parts in place without tabs only using double sided tape on my spoilboard.Since downcut has a problem clearing, I prefer to go down to final pass with an upcut first on the 3/8 material. This works well on solid material but always make your first pass with a downcut on material that might have a tendency to chip.We will see how long they last but for the price I would not complain. I ran this bit for the full process of cutting many letters out of 3/8 Armorite running 40ipm at .125 depth of pass, and this bit was good to the last drop on the pockets and profiles.

Good value. Gives a nice clean cut in domestic hardwoods. VERY fragile, though, due to being downcut. Need to move at about half-speed of upcut bits.

I bought these on a whim because they were cheap and I wanted to try 0 flute bits on some things. I never really got around to using them until I broke another 1/8†bit and these were all I had. The cut was WAY cleaner than the other bit I had been using, but I figured these would break - at least I had 5 of them… I finished the ENTIRE job using just 1 of these bits - 250 pieces of 1/4†plywood. Each 2’ x 4’ plywood panel was cut into 20 parts each, so this was A LOT of cutting and I never had an issue. I wish they were available in 1/4†shank…

I use these 2mm bits to cut door hangers on a CNC from 5mm plywood and, as long as I run them at 100 ipm or less, they do a great job and hold up pretty good. The five pack they come in makes the deal even better, just to know that I have back-ups if one does break on me. I keep extras of these bits in my shop.

Picked these bits up for some projects I have that I was hoping to have a cleaner edge on the top surface. Have one bit so far and it has been working well for my wood projects.

Perfect for those of us using "3018" style CNC machines using soft woods or MDF. Basically a "down cut" bit that reduces any tear out on the surface. Makes nice, clean cuts depending on depth and speed of course. I suspect they will work fine in larger machines when used with the appropriate collet or adapter.

They worked really well with my 3018 CNC. Cuts nice detail and very minimal fuzz. Seems they may wear a little quick, but not sure what to expect and compare too. Otherwise I would order again.

Nice sharp cutters for the 12mm birch ply I was cutting in 2mm steps, with a gentle feed rate. The only downside being that they do break very easily if you do not take care. For instance, I was cutting small 8mm circles “on the cut line†which left a small dowel behind, which was enough to catch the tool and snapping it, a clear out pocket would have avoided this. Given their price, I have already bought a second set as ultimately they are doing the job as expected.

Affilatissime ottime frese però sono molto delicate e si spezzano facilmente occhio al feedrate adeguato
