I bought these bulbs to replace some warm white ones that wouldn’t stay on when we bought our house. They were for two under-cabinet lights. I was hoping to be able to leave one of them on in the kitchen at night as a sort of nightlight, but these are so bright that it isn’t possible. They are a very bright, white light. It may be my fault that I don’t like the color, as I didn’t pay attention to the original color on the burnt out bulbs. If you are looking for a more yellow, warm white, these aren’t it. They would be great for a workshop or garage where you need bright light. Since I bought the six-pack, I will just use them and only turn them on when cooking. They are very easy to install and worked well right out of the box.

I purchased these bulbs to upgrade my current "warm" T8 tubes in fully functional working fixtures with a cleaner color signature "daylight" bulb. All 3 installed bulbs began to fail within a few days, with flickering, failure of ballasts and bulb darkening. Interestingly, seller/distributor appears to know the ballasts are defective as indicated by a pre-emptive deflective warning on the box stating "The defective ballast in your fixture will cause the bulb failed to work." to intimidate buyer from correctly attributing failure to them. When I returned my 20 year-old bulbs to the fixtures, all worked well flawlessly. So OUR ballasts are fine, but their bulbs are sub-sub-standard.
