I'm starting an Etsy bracelet making bracelet and this has been the perfect starting kit! I have not had any problems with the quality of string, and enjoy working with it. The gold and silver is a little thicker and harder to work with but still great! The threader did break on me but aside from that everything has been great quality. The gold and silver string is STUNNING. I have not really used the pens and had to toss them, so if your traveling be aware to not have them in there because they can leak. Its smaller than you think but there is a LOT of string and beautiful color choices. 1000% worth it, if your thinking about it, get it. The clippers also work great! Left a mason jar for sizing lmao. My adult granddaughter wanted to get started with embroidery so this is one of the gifts I got for her. It comes in a nice case, the yarn is lovely and the kit has everything for one to begin. She uses it all the time and it happy with it.

I just started cross-stitching/embroidery and wanted to get a kit with an array of supplies so I didn't have to buy everything individually. The container itself is a bit flimsy and I do worry that the tabs on the side that secure each layer are going to break. Additionally, the string is a bit on the cheaper end and seems to fray and get tangled a little more than I think is normal.In any case, the sheer amount of supplies and thread is impressive and as long as the container lasts, I like the organization of it and compactness. I still would recommend this to beginners as it is a great starting point, but eventually, I do see myself upgrading the storage container and thread (as well as some other misc. pieces) as I continue the hobby.

This is perfect. The only thing missing is a hoop and fabric. It's super small, but packs a ton of stuff into it! I love how organized it is, as well as the number of tools included that I wasn't even counting on. Wide variety of colors, super fun for home, travel, etc.

There's really no going wrong with this kit. I love the way the tiers stack and can be moved, and they lock in place very sturdily. The plastic is a little thin, but that makes it flexible so it doesn't feel like it'll break. Comes with a bunch of extras like snips, a measuring tape, and thimbles, which is nice.I actually only bought this for the storage box, expecting to give the off-brand floss to my nephews to play with, but the floss is actually really nice quality! It has a sheen just like DMC, and comes all pre-wound and numbered. It's a pretty close match as far as colors too: so much so that it could work to replace DMC in small projects that don't call for more than one skein per color.Really pleased with this purchase, and will be buying again for a gift!

Basically everything I need to get started with embroidery! I looked through a ton of sets. This one was the best for its value! Only wish it came with the embroidery hoops; performs great! Size is great- love that it came in a little set that I can easily store. Amazing color selection. Great price!
