We had a need to change a bulb in a cathedral ceiling. Figured out that we could use the suction cup attachment to stick on the end of the bulb and turn it free and then extract it. We did not like the very thin string that came with that suction cup attachment and is used to free the suction cup from the bulb by pulling on it at length. So, I changed the string to a more durable string of my own and wrapped it around the suction cup to keep it from tangling. That works but I docked a star from the rating because of this. Each attachment is screwed on then has a thumb screw to keep the attachment from turning once you have a bulb attached. The extensions are very nice and easy to extend and retract. We store the collapsed pole into a small closet. I placed the attachments into a plastic storage bag that did not come with the pole. The pole is durable. The attachment plastic screw-on part seems kind of cheap, so be careful with those. Made in China.

This did just what I wanted it to do.My ceilings are about 20 feet tall so I needed something just like this.Cannot believe the suction cup works, but it does.Changed out 4 bulbs that had not been touched in YEARS!

Very impressed by the strength and quality of the pole. I returned the item because the rubber suction cup broke on my first use. We have a tall ceiling and the pole was excellent for lowering bulbs down until the suction cup tore apart.
