So this is not one of those wimpy door stopper you typically see. This has some size and weight to it and holds well. This can handle larger gaps between the door and floor, but still measure to make sure.

We have a spring-tensioned swinging door that would overcome most doorstops on our shiny wood floor. This guy did the job! It's big and heavy, and grips securely.

Bot these after making a mistake with a cheaper, smaller stopper. These are very big and made of grippy rubber. Perfect for our very thick and super heavy oak doors!
