There are better options than this. The knife holder is made of a material that leaves much to be desired. The material feels like a cheap, thin plastic that’ll break easily. The paint barely simulates wood, as it is very noticeable it is a cheap painted plastic. Also, it is very lightweight, so I’m afraid it’ll get knocked over fairly easy as the weight of the knifes might play a role in an uneven weight distribution, making it easier to knock it over. I really wouldn't recommend it, except as a last resort.

I got this because my dad would loosely keep his butcher knives in the drawer and I was always worried about sanitization, safety, and organization with his knife drawer. This knife drawer feels and looks very cheap but it holds two small butcher knives and keeps the rest of his knives organized. I don't have kitchen sheers, but a peeler fits in that middle slot where sheers would normally go also.It's plastic, but it works. For the price, I think it's a pretty good deal.
