Bought to fix broken window latches. I had some generic builder type windows that did not have any information on them as to what the exact replacement part would be, but these ended up working our perfectly. Just make sure the measurements fit your window before you purchase.

I've purchased four different tilt latch sets before I finally sucked it up and paid for shipping to get this pair of tilt latches - and it was definitely worth the $7.99 extra! I have builder-grade windows from a house built in 2003 and the current tilt latches are *literally* disintegrating. Most tilt latches on the market are too long, or the latch-y part sticks out wider than needed, etc. Not these babies! I cleared them out of inventory to replace almost all of my windows #sorrynotsorry

Soooooo. Turns out there are quite a number of different sizes and shapes of these things. At first, I ordered the wrong ones. Yeah I assumed they were all the same. They aren’t.Before your order, I highly recommend that you verify the measurements and take a close look at the shape of the blade-like latching part. Some of them have a curved edge and some of them have a straight triangular shape. They are not interchangeable. This is the one with the straight triangular shape. It fit perfectly in my windows and it is absolutely wonderful.

There are many tilt window latches at Amazon, Swissco and others, but this is the only one I've found that actually is the same as the latches I have on most of my windows. It was so great to be able to just tap out the old and tap in the new without modifications. I hope they last. One comment is the 3 inch title is misleading as this is the overall, from the tip of the moveable part. Everyone else uses the length dimension of the body. WRS does have a nice dimensional drawing that shows everything.

Function is great, smooth as butter.For some reason was difficult to find the same latches as my 20-year old JW windows. Dimension spec figure on this product (thank you for including it) seemed to match up perfectly as my measurements. Sure enough, these fit flawlessly.Just wish they were sold with Prime.
