Good quality hand auger that will loosen most soils with reasonable effort. Strong and durable. Easy to use.

Used it to get a hole going to drive a ground rod. Arizona soil. It got to about 18" and just wouldn't go anymore or at least I didn't want to try because it felt like it would break. Anyway, it worked well getting the hole started.

These are surprisingly sturdy for being screwed together. It augered through texas clay and helped dig a hole. It's pretty severe (it's big) for just a garden, but would make quick work of planting bulbs. I have not used the tiller yet..that's on deck!

I am a petite woman. 5’ tall. I put together this tool myself. It took me about an hour to do so, but if you are handier, it may take less time. I haven’t used it for it’s job, yet, but I tested it out and it works easily. It’s a smart tool and a good tool for manually drilling fence post holes in the dirt. I live in Louisiana and this particular yard has, for the most part, soft-ish dirt. It’s definitely not hard clay. I think for my needs, it will do just fine.

But it does look like this can work, depending on your needs or wants!

I wish it were easier to change the attachments.

to tell me I'm too old for this ... but this contraption worked ... working in rocky soil, had to use a digging pike and shovel but managed to get 2 trees in the ground ...

Came with nuts that don't fit the bolts. Worthless.
