I purchased these thermometers to 1) replace the original, worn-out thermometer in my Char-griller Pro offset smoker and 2) have an extra as a back-up. The new thermometer I installed was easy to install and fit perfectly. I started a fire in the smoker and used a digital thermometer to verify that the new thermometer was reading correctly (it was). These thermometers seem to be of decent quality and a good value. I will update if I have any issues in the future.

These aren’t bad for the price. The face a little small for what I need, but I can live with that. They’re not spot on temp wise, but, they haven’t got better or worse with time. I tested them when I got them with boiling water and they read just under the 220° mark, and test again today (8 months later) and they still read the same.One of them has fogged up and got condensation in it making it almost unreadable, and quite unreadable at night. I’ll have to replace that one soon overall, if you’re looking for a cheap thermometer and know what it’s off by at your given cooking temps and keep your cooker inside, these will be fine for you

Used for a wooden stove . I temp guage on 5in pipe that serves as stove top. Inside each pipe is a peice if steel shaped like a disc and sized to fit inside pipe that can be open and closed to control temperature. The temp guages are accurate . Quality product for great price.

works great as a replacement thermometer in my BBQ. It has a slightly smaller outside diameter on the dial than my original but the color markings make it easier to read.
