ok so first off this is suuuper high quality, it has a great weight to it, and it glides very smoothly. I kind of wish that the magnetic cap was stronger so it could crush my herbs a little faster with less pressure from me but it is still great quality and for the price i dont think you can do better.

This is a handy little grinder. I like the magnetic top and it does a pretty good job grinding the herbs. I will say that I've noticed pieces getting stuck either in the teeth or in the holes instead of dropping down. I also have to occasionally use a small paint brush to push the Keith through the screen underneath but it does a fabulous job of collecting that and collecting the herb once it's ground. I wish that it would not produce larger chunks at times and I do find it frustrating that pieces are always getting stuck in the holes but overall I feel like it does its job pretty well. The paint or coating on the outside chipped quickly but that's really a cosmetic thing not a performance thing. It's an upgrade from what I was using before for sure but I'm not sure I would buy this again. It's also kind of a smaller container as far as what it can hold.

If you want aluminum shavings in your herbs then this is the grinder to get. I ordered this item because it's advertised as "alloy steel".. It is not. The little magnet in the center is but the grinder is 100 aluminum. Plus the picture is silver and the item I received is black. This mal-advertising has wasted my time again. Now I have to send it back. Can't trust item descriptions at all anymore.
