Material is rather cheap but they work well. They hold the abrasives well but the connection between the plastic and the metal shaft is the weak point.

The first one lasted a while until I smacked the edge while in use and removed a small chunk of the rubber. My dumb@$$ continued to use it for another week until it blew up on me at 20000 RPM. I'm glad the small piece hit me. The big piece hit the ~30' ceiling of a truck shop and disappeared.

The shanks on these are significantly smaller than others I have bought. I have to really wrench down on my air grinder chucks to get them to hold. I measured the shanks on these at 0.231" and not the usual 0.247"-0.25" of my others. That's far enough off to me that they should not be advertised as 1/4" shanks.

You will need 2" sanding disc's but these work great and hold the sanding discs well. Great for sanding on a lathe or on the bench.
