Purchased these for our black water tank at our camp. These were the perfect fit and easy to install. After having an inspection and a season at camp no leaks were found. Very durable and affordable.

I was making rain barrels and needed a way to connect the barrels together. I used 1.5" PVC pipe after cutting a hole into the side of a barrel (I purchase used pickle barrels to collect the rain). At first, I tried several methods to seal the hole around the pipes, but nothing work. I purchased these rubber seals. They worked great. I did add silicone around them just to insure no leaking, but I probably didn't really need to.The pipe, once inserted into the seal, caused the seal to press against the barrel side enough to create a tight fit, but my OCD kicked in so I added the silicone caulk. For my use, these were great. I did have to return the 2" version but immediately bought the 1.5" version. Worked like a charm.

This is a great product that does its job nicely. I built a koi pond filtration system with four 55 gallon drums in sequence with moving K3 bio media. I was able to push through PVC piping (make sure you get the right size hole drill) with no difficulty. I take credit for this because I grinded a bevel to the end of each pipe. To make it slippery and much easier to push through, I added soapy water on the rubber fitting and the beveled end of each pipe. It worked great. So far, there have been no leaks anywhere near these seals.

You will work to get the pipe through even with lube but it’s worth it! These things sealed very well for me, no leaks to date

Not sure if it's operator error or product so 3 stars. Had to use epoxy to seal all three of these i installed on a 27 gallon, 9 gallon, and 7 gallon rubbermaid.

Been using uniseals for pond pipe for 20+ years. Work great. Never leak.
