I used this product for it's intended purpose. Use extra Teflon tape on an older tank as the threads will be rusty. I used twice the amount suggested and had to over tighten the connection to stop the leak. That said: The product works as intended and a good value

Well made well tank float. Float screws to assembly with brass screws and plate. The one I replaced was a cheap $8 unit. Assembly came out but the float fell off. Cheap pos. I recommend this high quality tank float.
