These don’t really break down and it is hard to clean the grit off of them, so you can’t really reuse them. I would recommend the ceramic media or just using smaller rocks

I read the reviews on this before purchasing and was hardheaded enough to try it anyway. The only thing this stuff is really good for is cushioning soft stones in your rock tumbler. I actually regret buying it. It didn't suit my intended use and it is just as aggravating as other reviews have stated. I hate this stuff and I'll be finding other uses for it hopefully. It floats,gets in the way,gets everywhere. Unless you're going to be using it to cushion rocks,give this stuff a pass. I would say as a positive you do get a lot of it,but then again you can reuse it, so in a way there's more of it left over and it's like a negative because there's more of it to hate. I'm sure there's people out there that absolutely love it,but I'm not one of those. It's practically useless to me,and I think it might last forever. I'm trying to keep a sense of humor about it,but I wonder ...what have I done.
