These handicapped placard covers are outstanding! I live in a very hot climate and was looking for a cover to protect my handicapped placard. The placard is now perfectly protected against the heat and sun. It is very easy to take on and off with its magnet. I searched for a while to find the exact item I wanted; I didn't like any of the cheap ones from China. This one cost significantly more, but it is high quality and made in the U.S.A. Highly recommend this protector!

Great holder. Magnet strength holds up and holder does not warp in high heat.Bought this as a replacement for my father's standard plastic hook holder in which the hook was breaking off. It seemed to make sense to get this type of holder both because there wouldn't be as much stress/wear and tear on the hook part and it should be easier to take on and off with the magnet effect.This turned out to be the case. The magnet gimmick was just the right trick. The magnet is definitely strong enough to remain intact through out hanging on the hook for several hours to overnight. This includes in high heat and strong direct sunlight.Likewise after using it for several weeks in high heat (100+ temp and probably more like 120 - 130 in car) and strong direct sunlight, the plastic did not warp or shrink. This was, however, with some factory window tinting, but not dark.My father really likes it and especially for the ease of putting it up and taking it off. After we practiced together we found the best way to keep it on without fail was to make sure to grab the magnet with as much surface for both pieces as possible. Then a simple light twist and tug separates the pieces easily without struggle. My father especially likes this because he doesn't have to tussle with getting the hook on/off of the rear mirror stem. He liked it so much he gave the spare (there's two in a pack) to his girlfriend. And she's found the holder to be of the same benefit.So for the value as almost a two for one product it's well worth the cost for the quality and ease of use.Product is top notch after a couple of months of use and seller delivered on time and as described. Good transaction.

We previously owned the one piece plastic placard holders, which never held up. After a few months of use they'd crack. I was somewhat hesitant to order this new type, based on some of the reviews and also not knowing what 18 mil thickness meant. I decided to take a chance and was extremely pleased with both the product and the seller. The new and improved product with poly-carbonate hook and stronger, more resilient magnet is nothing short of amazing. The material is quite heavy, the hook is substantial and the magnet will never come loose and is quite strong.Before ordering I contacted the seller to ensure that I would receive the new and improved product. I also questioned whether the hook would fit my angled mirror brackets. He assured me that all shipments now include the improved product and that he would gladly refund my money if they didn't fit my vehicles. He responded very quickly in a very professional manner so I ordered immediately. His shipping was extremely fast. I think I had the placard holders in only two days.What I would highly recommend to anyone planning to order is to order extra hooks if you do any traveling. We decided it would be best to have extras because it would be very easy to forget that the hook is in the rental car. You can't really see it when it's in place without the placard attached.If you don't have a door pocket where you can store the placard I would strongly suggest purchasing the extra little magnet so you can hang the placard somewhere in the car when it's not in use.

Great product! So simple to use. Place the small magnetic hook over the back of the rearview mirror, place the placard in the plastic sleeve, place the sleeve magnet onto the magnet on the hook and you’re done! The plastic sleeve is easy to take down for when you’re driving and put back up when needed again. No fumbling like on the others that are all one piece where the hook attached to the sleeve, making it much harder to hang every time you use it.

Great product. It saves me time trying to hang my handicap placard on my rear view mirror. Plus I was destroying the cardboard on the placard. These clear plastic protectors hold (and protect) my placard and with the top part (dark blue top) that is magnetized it takes one second to attach them to the little hanger that comes with it. You leave the little plastic hanger - that comes with it - on your rear view mirror all of the time (it's small and doesn't impede your view). The little hanger has a magnet that attracts the placard holder magnet and voila - instant on and off. Great gift for your handicapped family member or friend. They will THANK YOU for it. You get two as advertised.
