It took about 10 to 15 minutes to reassemble the clock and the supplied hands are nearly an exact duplicate of the original. I can see no time error after about 3 weeks operation. When the clock was set against my master they were about 5 seconds apart, and they are still 5 seconds apart. All clocks of this type are fragile and must be treated as such. The 30 year old clock this one replaced was nearly an exact duplicate of this new one, goes to show an excellent basic design. The second clock has not been used as a new high quality battery solved the old ones issues. I think this is an excellent buy.

These were exactly what I needed to fix an old clock of my father's that had failed. Universal fit perfect and installed quickly. I found that a few other old clocks have the same movements and will purchase another set to fix those as well.

Bought this to convert a loud ticking clock into a soundless one. This one is loud - doesn't tick but does make noise.The set up is easy but I broke the first one so had to use the 2nd one on the first clock.Look elsewhere for a soundless mechanism.

virtually silent clock movement (second hand moves continuously, not incrementally) so no click-click-click. Two pack but only one set of arms so you can't make matching clocks. Battery is a tight fit, slap in the + first and it goes in better.

Needed a movement with a certain length to allow hands to pass over raised decorative areas on a wall clock. This worked perfect and best of all, this movement is unbelievably accurate. I set it to our digital clock over a month ago and this clock is still on exact same time. Highly recommend this seller & brand movement. The additional hands were also a real bonus. I hadn't planned on using them but glad they were included. Awesome deal!

The description was accurate. The description gives all the dimensions needed to match the movement being replaced and the housing size. Easy to install. The silent movement is great where the audible tick-tick-tick get annoying. I only needed one movement, but the price for 2 was too good to pass up. Now I have a spare movement for a project clock.

I put up with a decorative clock that lost about 5 minutes a week and ticked loudly for years. Thankfully it did me a favor and died. What a waste of time :) this kit was perfect. And I didn't have a second hand until now. Nice touch. It even moves smooth in Rolex style. Works great and inexpensive. Didn't need two but this had the hands I needed. Had to shim it with a thick washer since the shaft is pretty long but not a problem for my application.

Good quality product. I have been using it for a while now and it has been accurate so far in showing time. I had ordered it as replacement for the existing wall clock machine as that was draining battery quickly. After replacement, I haven't changed the battery till now.

Quiet operation, no annoying tick every second. Accuracy as expected from a quartz movement. Although the documentation suggests you should use a carbon/zinc battery, the actually battery compartment says to use an alkaline battery. Has been running well for months on alkaline. Varied selection of clock hands included but you may also be able to adapt hands from existing clock if using this motor for restoration.
