I bought these rails to replace some rusty cast iron ones on my front porch. These however are NOT cast iron as advertised. They are hollow, unassembled, aluminum most likely. I guess the weight of 25 pounds should have tipped me off, but I didn’t see it until it arrived. These are getting returned and I guess I’m out the $40 delivery fee despite the inaccurate advertising. Not happy about that. Giving 2 stars because they probably are fine if you are looking for black aluminum railings, but don’t like the deceptive description.

Overall the railing is ok, but the bolts and nuts stick out of the side of the railing and it is easy to injure your hand if you slide it along the railing. I would suggest replacing the nuts and bolts with round-head versions to avoid this hazard.
