6 inch Foam Sanding Pads
6 inch interface pad features soft durable 1/2-inch foam construction that allows technicians to maintain consistent abrasive contact when following contours and to sand closer to edges without burning through.
It is applicable to 6-inch random track sander, which effectively reduces the common vibration when using double acting track sander, improves the finish and realizes precision sanding.
FEATURES
HOOK & LOOP
One side of the interface pad is HOOK surface, which can stick with Hook & Loop sanding discs, and the other side is LOOP surface, Suitable for 6” sanding pads of polisher buffer drill or sander
SOFT & DURABLE FOAM
Constructed of soft durable sponge which allows the technician to follow contours and get closer to edges while minimizing burn through. Sponge material with buffering function, can effectively reduce the damage of vibration to the product.
APPLACATION
6-inch interface buffer pad is used between the sandpaper and the sander pad to obtain the best effect and reduce vibration when sanding contoured and curved surfaces of cars, boats, wood, metals and furniture etc.

I have a 6 inch buffer/sander that I use for everything. The pad on it is very solid so it doesn't do too well on curves. These pads are perfect. They make it so much easier to get around curves or follow a round over when sanding. Stuff that would normally require tedious hand sanding can now be knocked out in a hurry. The price is great too. These pads work fantastically well.

Unless I’m doing heavy removal I generally use an interface for a better contact and smoother surface finish. I also believe you get more rapid removal using the softer base. These are inexpensive, high quality, take a lot of abuse an last well
