These work well enough, but they're kind of cheaply made and fill up with Gunk that is really hard to clean out. It's like lint or something and sticks to the netting. You almost have to have a toothbrush to clean it. I was torn on whether to give it a four-star because it does the trick and it's cheap, but it also looks cheap and is a pain in the neck to clean, although you don't have to clean it that often really. Meh. It's an okay product. Not a waste of money necessarily so I went with 4 stars.

This is great if you have lost the inner workings of you bathroom sink. I did remove the screen from it because it drains too slow for me.

The universal gasket allowed for easy installation. Fit the drain well. The stopper pops up and down as expected. What I did not like about this item is the drainage and the screen that would require frequent cleaning. It drains very slow. I was looking for a way to avoid having to replace the pivot rod that raises the stopper up and down. Although this device is an alternate solution, if you have the skills to replace the pivot rod that is a better option. Cleaning could prove cumbersome. This is a great alternative and looks great. I ended up replacing the pivot rod.

Love the concept of the plug. However, the gasket that goes between the existing sink drain and the plug does not fit tight. That does not cause a leak but when you remove the plug the gasket stays in the sink drain. Sooooo if you don’t watch it when you pull the plug out to clean the catch basket then replace the plug you will possibly push the gasket down the drain. Then it’s gone. Not a good design.Follow-up: I am not using the gasket and it holds water pretty good. Will watch it for a few days/weeks before deciding to return or keep.
