I bought these for my father, who has trouble getting out of cars because of balance. He needs to hold on when getting out, and he puts all his weight on my little folding door handle, which I don’t like. This seemed like a better idea. He tried it and liked it, though he didn’t trust it at first.Then I gave one to a friend who had abdominal surgery. I have had many of those surgeries and remember how hard it is to get in and out of a car when your core is weak. She loves it, says it really helps. I wish I knew about these when I had my surgeries!The grip is soft foam. The piece itself doesn’t feel heavy enough to support weight, but it really is strong enough to push off with. And I like that it comes with the extra safety features (glass break and belt cutter). I keep this in my car on the passenger side, so when I have to drive Dad around, it’s handy. Easy to use, easy to store. Worth it if you have someone who has problems with strength or balance.

Great tool. I am short & have knee problems. This tool has greatly helped me get into my F250. Should have bought them sooner. I keep one on each side of the truck. Perfect for me.

I was hopeful these would help my elderly parents with mobility issues. However, one broke after using it the first time. I'm very disappointed in this product and would not buy again. I had to return the order.

I’m recovering from major surgery and would be unable to get in or out of my wife’s car without the aid of this device. Perfect safety item to keep in any car. Excellent price.

Held onto handle by two very small screws into plastic which quickly broke on second use. Otherwise it works ok, not great but ok.

This whistle fantastic for my elderly parents. I don’t know what they would do without them. Nice grip easy to put in the door slot so they can grab it very sturdy.

The butt of both tools broke off right out of the box, with very little effort.Cheap. Does not work well. Dangerous.
