I haven't needed it yet, but it looks like it has everything you need to get into a vehicle of any air. So I am happy about it. I just haven't had the opportunity to act play use it yet.

Used this to get back into my 2007 Dodge Caravan after locking the keys in it at the house. I originally ordered a plastic wedge and 2 airbags for making an opening in the door large enough to easily slip the tool in and get it on the latch but this noose tool arrived 2 days earlier so I gave it a shot and it was harder without the airbags but only took about 15 minutes. However if your cars weather stripping on the door interior is in really good condition I highly recommend a plastic wedge and at least one airbag to hold the door cracked while using this tool to avoid causing any damage during the unlocking process. Either way without it it took me about 15 minutes but with the wedge and airbags it took less than 5 minutes. Just drop the noise loop down over your rod shaped latch and then pull out all the slack then pull and pop the lock and presto. It is not long enough to reach the door handle though. So if you have other style locks use airbags and a metal rod latch grabber or a door Jimmy that slips In-between the window and door and is used to pop the lock using the internal locking mechanism. All together this tool did exactly what I needed it to do. Would highly recommend and order again if needed.

This tool is a good idea in theory, but definitely won't work for most modern vehicles with locks near the handle. This is due to the fact that the tool itself is just too short to reach the handle and pull it open. Additionally, the wire is very rigid and so you are have limited mobility. I have used lockout kits before, but this just seems impractical to me unless you are using it on an older model vehicle with the big pull-up door lock mechanism.Lastly, I noticed that if you don't use a wedge or some sort of pry tool to get the wire in, the end will scratch the paint off of your door jamb. Initially I thought it would be thin enough to slide in between the weather stripping and the door, but it kept getting caught up and scratching the painted surface. There are much more efficient lockout tools out there than this one.

I don’t lock my keys in my car, but I do manage to drop things down cracks where I simply can’t reach them – things that aren’t made of iron and can’t be retrieved with a magnet. This looped grabber is exactly what I need to fish out those items that I can see but can’t reach. A real headache saver.
