I was really surprised to find them this cheap. When I got them, they were so small. I got worried but once you open the package and run them underwater it expands to the full size. I have them in my filter for my pond now and they’re working great. A definite purchase again.

Almost sent them back, as they were shrink wrapped and it didn’t look like the correct product. Take out of package and they expand ( slowly) and magically replace the very expensive filters for the pond, same quality as the doubled price ones, and you can easily store extras for when it’s time to change them.

That being said it does not fit, you need to make one cut all the way through diagonally in order for the tubing to fit through the center hole. This being done works great, and once inside the filter you can’t tell where it was cut.

So I bought another set to swap out quickly in my barrel can filter. The other filters have worked great the past few weeks.Pro's:Gets the algae and fish crap absorbed.Easy to clean.Good value for the money.Clean pond!!

These are advertised to be a replacement for the filter inserts in a very common canister style pond filter. The description indicates they're 7cm or about 2 3/4in thick. They are BARELY 2 cm thick. They weren't vacuum sealed and compressed They're just an inferior product. You'll get a better filter if you avoid this product.

I have been around and around with sponges and filters…THESE are a must for both quality and thickness AND price. Just add some beneficial bacteria and then put them in your pond and BOOM. Algae killer!

I have been using these filters for years. When I saw the price, I ordered a new set. When it came, my initial reaction was oh no this won't work. I wish I needed to clean my filter because putting them in before they inflate would be so much easier. Unpack them, they will go back to correct size.

Either I got the wrong product or the pictures wrong look like their 5†thick buy actually less than one
