These are pretty versatile drum mic holders from FAMEFAME. They are designed to clip onto your drum hoops and be tightened down with the spring-loaded plastic thumb screw.*NOTE: do NOT overtighten these! They will break just like any other holder of this style. I've broken them all over the years. Just snug fit them onto your hoop. These will hold most mics without any modification. The part that holds your mic is very flexible and opens to at least 32 mm. For example it will hold a vocal mic (25 to 32 mm diameter) perfectly. They also hold my Audix Fusion F15 condenser mics which measure 20 to 24 mm at the thickest part. The description states it will hold from 18-22 mm. Not in my experience. Your mic needs to be at least 24 mm in diameter before the mic holder will grip onto it.My Audix Fusion tom mics won't work without removing the factory mic holder mechanism. You can take out the Phillip's head screw, take off the mic mount and install the Audix F10 at its hinge. This forces the plastic out a little bit, but should get you through in a bind. The extension on these is always the weak point. I'd recommend not raising it more than 1/2". It gets 'floppy' with a heavier well-made mic if extended too much. Another handy tip is to hold the hinge mechanism in your left hand and adjust the mics angle in your right while supporting the thin plastic extension. Trust me, even the name brand ones will break if mishandled. These should do fine. I recommend getting extras.

Not made well. Holds the mic, but that’s about all it does. Loosens up and falls after just a couple minutes of playing.

Picked up a pair of these to mic my drummers kit for a home recording session. They worked well on the toms and snare. They have have an adjustable thumb screw and ridges that fit on the rims. Fairly solid. They don't work well on his bass drum, due to a lack of hardware on the outside edge, but that's not standard use anyway. The holder itself can fit mics as large as an SM58 style, but is too big for something like a Behringer C-2. In any case, at 12 bucks a pair, these are a decent deal.

For the price, these are good functional drum mic holders. They aren't durable enough to hold up for heavy gigging, but if you are using them at home or in a semi-pro studio, they'll do just fine.

These worked well for holding mics. Didn’t fall off my drum set. Sturdy design and material. Value for the money.

These work as they should but they're not top quality. My only real complaint is that you can't swap the mic clips themselves to accommodate odd-sized mics (vintage EV's and whatnot). For 57's, or other mics with more conventionally-sized shafts, these will work just fine.

I like the way this clip attaches to the rim, you get to manually unscrew the clamp while placing it and then tighten it. This part works and holds great. There is also an extension arm that can increase the height of the microphone in the clip relative to the drum. It's nowhere near sturdy enough to hold a heavy microphone steady on the drum without wobbling all over the place and even bouncing off the drum head as you play. In order to make this clip anywhere near workable, you need to retract the adjustable height fully and adjust the microphone angle to be close to parallel to the drum. I had hoped to retract these perfectly, then tighten down the screw, but on both of mine -- they never tighten fully to totally lock them in place (the tightening bolt just keeps turning and can never go fully tight, so you'll need to tape them in place if you end up buying these and want to fully lock them down in the fully retracted position. In this position, you won't be able to "aim" the mic to the center of the drum if your drum head is less than about 14". Not ideal, but possibly workable if you're using larger drums and don't mind more bleed on your individual drums. The manufacturer needs to upgrade this product so that the height adjustment is equally strong when adjusted at the full height as it is when retracted fully. Also need to fix the tightening knob so that you can fully tighten it to it won't move on you as you play.If you want to use heavier SM57 or SM58 shaped microphones, you'll do better with something else.If you're using really lightweight or smaller than typical microphones, you may get by with this product as-is -- that's just a guess, since I only tried SM57's.
