I bought this so I could put my keys in it and lock my car with the air conditioner on when I had to run into the store and leave my dog in the car (I live in a hot climate, and not all stores allow my pup in). Without the little Faraday cage purse something in my car kept beeping. This took care of the problem. It also reduces the usage of your batteries, so they last longer. Bonus!

This is a well made and attractive product, and important for these times when people can steal your signal for remote car door opening. However, you have to take the keys out of the pouch in order to use it, so it somewhat defeats the purpose.

Defective. These don't block the signal. They don't work. Others have also commented about these. I am returning them...

At first I didn't think they worked but then seen the other pocket, works great and unbelievable price i always thought my outside trunk release needed reprogrammed because i could unlock it after car was locked not until I got these it show i had my remote to close work find .peace of mind knowing my cars not easily hacked on a computer and stollen

I ordered these faraday pouches after reading an article about car remote codes being stolen. I was sure if I would actually use them when I first started, but I have gotten used to using them and the are worth the money. I use the external clip for my house keys and they work great.
