Just what I needed keeps the smell of the garlic off my hands.

As a frequent home cook, I've gone through my fair share of garlic presses. Some were clunky, others were difficult to clean, and some simply didn't do the job well. However, my experience with this one has been a such a surprise with its easy ability to be used and cleaned

[ITEM]: Ywmoml 2 Pack Garlic Press Rocker Set – Innovative Stainless Steel Garlic Mincer and Crusher with 2 Peelers, 2 Scrapers, and 2 Brushes for Effortless Garlic Prep | Complete Garlic Tool Kit[SIZE]: 4.5" x 2"[QUANTITY]: 2-Pack[COLOR]: Black[MATERIAL]: Silica, Plastic[ITEM MODEL NO]: YSQ[ASIN]: B0DM53PX1H[COUNTRY OF ORIGIN]: China[GREAT FOR GARLIC LOVERS]:First off, I love that you get two sets because we’re a family that likes to cook together, and you can never have too many people prepping garlic, because you can never have too much garlic![PEELING MADE EASIER IF YOU KNOW THE TRICK]:It’s probably all in my head, but I swear garlic has been getting stickier and stickier in recent years, and I hate that feeling on my hands. I know plenty of tricks of getting garlic loose from its skin, but never quite succeed at getting it all the way off. So, I was dying to try these little mats to help remove the skins.I’ve used my own silicone mats in a homemade tube fashion before and it worked fairly well, but what sets these apart is they are ribbed on the inside to create greater friction. However, I didn’t see much of a difference until I discovered that if you slice the garlic in half diagonally first, the skins will come right off.So, it’s one step more than I had hoped, but it’s one I’m willing to live with because the skin comes clean off and I’m not needing to stop and rinse my handles multiple times during garlic prep.[ROCKING CRUSHER: TAKES A BIT OF EFFORT]:The hand rocker graters are another story. They “work,†but I am a very petite person and they take a lot more muscle than your standard garlic press. (The crushing block is kind of nice, though.) I can do it, but near the end, it kind of gets stuck on the outside in a wall of garlic skin, and I really do need the little knife or brush they provide.I think I like the rocker tool when I’m doing multiple heads of garlic, but if I’m only doing a couple of bulbs, I’m not going to want to put so much muscle into it or needlessly dirty a whole cutting board. If you are not on the tiny side or just a little more athletic than I am, perhaps you will not find the garlic rocker takes as much force as I or the other little ladies in my family do.[OVERALL]:The peeling tubes are a definite plus as long as you cut the garlic diagonally first, and the crushers are functional, though they require a bit of muscle.
