Update: 1/6/2025This IS the correct adapter for the key step 37!!you will need a separate 5 pin male/male midi cable to connect to this converter-----------Original review:While I'm sure the quality of this cable is great, this midi cable DOES NOT fit an arturia key step 37.It appears both the 37 and this cable connections are female, and do not actually connect up the devices. Amazon recommended I bundled this item with a Korg volca purchase, and I didn't realize these were female connections like the key step isThat's my fault. I haven't touched my key step in forever and should have triple checked

And if it is then it would be great if they had posted 7 or 5 pin and the industry treats u like sheep. Seriously. Midi been around since 70s but oh no not good enough now 3.5 trs and then 5 or 7 pin. Jesus u capitalists like to change things not broken so u can u did it. That’s the only reason for a type an and b. Blame Korg and Arturia for consumer fraud.
