Notes for use

To obtain accurate test results, you need to pay attention to the following points during the testing process:

1. Please do not dip the pH test strip in the test solution. It might lead to inaccurate showing of the test results.

2. Please use a "clean" glass rod or dropper to pipette the solution on the pH test paper. It will perfectly display true acidic or alkaline characteristics.

3. You can't measure dry stuff. you have to create a solution.

4. The pH test paper is not suitable for testing strong acid products and products with bleaching function, such as concentrated sulfuric acid and bleaching powder solution.

Water and antifreeze showed up different shades of green as they should and the lemon juice I tested showed up red as it should. As far as I can tell they work fine and were a good price.

Can’t cross compare with high quality test kits but it’s does measure a difference between tap water, vinegar or bleach etc.

I use these to check the pH balance in fluids for automotive use. IE coolant, brake fluid etc, these are way more cost-effective than buying automotive branded pH test strips.

These caused utter panic and I will be returning. They are absolutely inaccurate and read everything way more basic than is true. I got them for canning foods because I need to know when things aren't under 4.6. They read bottled lemon juice at 5! Absolutely useless and now I have to drive 35min each way to return this junk
