I purchased the lamps to replace lamps that were likely very much older than I. I really was drawn to the available GFCI in one of the two lamps. This will be helpful for holiday decorating. These are well constructed, easy to install. A decent size and frankly look darn good.

I upgraded the apartment I rent because the lights were so bad. The price is so good it was worth it. Also love that there is a plugin for one light. I put that on my back patio so I can have outdoor string lights.

EDIT: Seller reached out and offered a refund. Also sent a label to have the light shipped back so they could see what happened. I went ahead and ordered a variation of this light again from them. Adjusting to three stars for now because of the good customer service.The lights look nice and were easy to install. HOWEVER, the main feature we purchased these lights for was the additional outlet we'd get at our front door. The lights themselves worked well for a little over two months until the first time we go to use the outlet (small Halloween lights at front door). Not only did the outlet not work for the lights, but now the entire light itself doesn't work. I tested the wires and they are fully functional. Light isn't easy to open and check wires, so I just have to throw them away and try again with a different brand.

Love these lights! They are great quality and bright with the right light bulb. We love that there is a gfci outlet, it is perfect for any kind of hanging lights outside. I do wish they sold a double pack of the light with the plug in and not just one regular and one plug in.

The plug on the light is a neat idea but the light switch has to be on unless you set your system up differently. That said a light sprinkle of rain was enough to keep tripping the GFCI on the one that I put up and it quickly became a nuisance I was not willing to tolerate. There is no insulation to keep water from infiltrating the plug area. This is basically like putting a plug in the sink and running water on it. I'm not willing to engineer a solution that will prevent it from nuisance tripping. I'll just buy one without a plug on it and go on my way.
