The package includes two seedling heating pads. These are waterproof and large enough to fit many seeding pots depending on the size of the pots (or seeding trays). The temperature is set so all one has to do is plug them in and let them do their job. One will warm up some coleus seeds I planted today. Basically though I keep my house cool in the winter so I intend to use these to keep my more sensitive plants warm during really cold days/nights--warmer than I want to be even during cold weather!The mats are flexible in that they roll and unroll easily and stay flat. They arrived with no damage and all one has to do once unpacked is plug them in. They are waterproof though one should keep an eye on the socket just in case. The warming pads include a two year warranty which is encouraging considering the quality of some imports these days. At 10 x 20.75 inches each, the two pads will cover a large area. Good buy for the price especially since they will be around for at least two years!

I have 4 of these plugged in for my seeding shelves. They work great. Warm seeding soul gave me better sprouting numbers.

I bought these to help my inside seedlings sprout during winter time. These didn't warm up as expected, almost nothing. So the germination of my seedlings was a complete failure.I ended up using my heating pad (for body aches).
