I was a little skeptical when I ordered this item. It was so less expensive than many others, but it worked like a charm. My little seedlings did so well. You can't control the temperature, but the temp is perfect.

These plant mats work great ! There's step by step instructions on the warming mats and if you follow that you can't fail. On the mats it tells you how long to keep your plants on the heat and when to water your seedlings. Pretty simple !In the photos you see some empty containers because I didn't use them all, but the ones I did grew like crazy.I'm so glad I bought these warming mats ! They are made well and operated just like their supposed to. I read in other reviews that they don't get very warm, their not supposed to get hot because they'd dry out the roots too fast. The mats heat at just the right temperature and when the seeds sprout well your supposed to remove the mat according to the instructions and that's what I did. I'd buy these again if I need more.

The price was good and they are working fine. I have had my original heat mat from that company for about six or seven years, maybe longer and it still works. The mats shorten the germination time, just remember to take the plants off the mat when they come up.

My peppers sprouted much faster than usual once I started using these heat mats. Doesn't get too hot!

These seed mats are wonderful for keeping those seed and seedlings warm and invite rapid sprouting, compared to no heat mat use. They are sturdy, easy to use, (just plug in) and keep a consistent temperature. I use them every early spring and sometimes in the winter in the small greenhouse to encourage seedling growth!

I'm not sure if they're made in Japan, but the writing on the mats is Japanese, which in my experience with electronics indicates a higher quality product. These are much nicer than my other heat mats. The plastic is thicker, the heat more uniform, and they unrolled and flattened out nicely. To flatten out, I put it on top of my metal washing machine, plugged it in, and after it started to heat up, sat two 9x13 cookie sheets on top with something to weigh them down. After about 30 minutes I unplugged the mat and left it there overnight. No wrinkles or curling whatsoever. I've had both of them going under seedlings for a week with no problems; they're on an unheated porch, so they're pretty much on all the time, one is on a thermostat and one is not. I'm very happy with them.

Showed up on time, well packaged, and so far the heat mats work excellently. I can't speak to longevity at all yet but the first week of use has gone swimmingly.

These are just plug and play easy to use heat mats. They seem perfect for sprouting peppers, and other seeds that need warmth to germinate.
