These HundRare 2 Pack Upgraded Car Safety Hammer, Emergency Escape Tool are great! They came packaged nicely in a box which I feel is always a bonus in case you would like to gift to someone. It comes with a tester piece of glass so you can try it out and get a feel for it. Pop the one end off to reveal the seatbelt cutter. Also includes complete instructions should you need them and and adhesive circle for your car if you wish to mount it. It's small enough to carry with you, put in the glove compartment or console.It's one of those things everyone should have in their car and hope to never have to use. The price of $16.99 for two of this I think is an incredible value and well worth it. I would highly recommend these to anyone. I did test it out and as you can see it did cut a hole in the glass, so it does exactly what it is supposed to do and I did it with very little force! Thank you for reading.

It's always good to keep in mind the idea that you may need this and will wish you had one if that time comes.Works.Light weight and sharp.My only complaint is one of the test glasses was broken when I got them, didn't know they came with test glass, so I got a bunch of shards on my hands figuring it was rock salt (Midwest winter must).Other than that, they're nice and in the center console.

I live in Florida, where there are many canals and bodies of water. This safety hammer is a must! What I liked about this is that it came with two hammers, so one will go in my car and the other in my wife's car. This does not look like your traditional hammer, so I was unsure of how to use it. The instructions sounded simple, but would it work? The package came with 2 round pieces of glass to test it out on. I did the test in the provided packaging so there was no real mess to clean up when the glass shattered. It was so simple to use. The next step was to mount it in my car which took just seconds to do.Great product and I highly recommend it!

This window breaker really is more advanced than the average window breaker tool. Instead of having to pound the glass with a sharp tip, you just push and it has a built in spring that propels the point forward with a lot of force, but with little effort. It even comes with a sample piece of glass to try it on and it worked great. I am happy to have this in my car. It comes also with an adhesive clip to mount it somewhere in the car, but I have not mounted it in that way.

These safety escape devices have become quite ubiquitous and there are all kinds of designs and configurations of these. I personally prefer these spring-loaded glass breakers to the ones that require an actual hammering action that need force and an open motion (that may not be possible in a confined emergency situation). I also think that each door in a car should have one of these devices near it, because in an emergency it may not be possible to move around inside the car to get to the only one that may be attached to the dash, in the glovebox, by the steering wheel, etc.These breakers are well-made, are unobtrusive, and function quite well.
