It’s a filter, not a whole lot to say. I needed a replacement because my last filter got soaked in water from sucking water out of a toilet. When I later went to use the vacuum, my previous filter was not sucking normally, it was noticeably degraded due to clogging. This replacement filter brought the vacuum back to its normal sucking power. Also, for this wondering, I installed this on rigid model WD4080A, which was not in the original list of compatible rigid vacuum models, and it fit and performed perfectly without issues.

The filter fit is off just a bit but not enough to cause any issues, the bag fits perfectly and keeps the vac interior clean, and dust is non existent

My old Kobalt wall hanging vac was in need of a new filter and come to find they don’t have these anymore. Measurements indicate this would work but with some modifications to the closed end. I cut out most of the closed end rubber and removed the ridges/ribs to make a smoother surface, fit perfectly. Seems to be a decent filter too
