Good Intentions - but they do not work. New dial does not fit onto old thermostat knob. New dial does not snap onto old receptacle....almost - The half moon cut-out on new dial is not a match to diameter and angle of old thermostat. Cover plate plate does not stay attached.

The fit was less than perfect where the knob goes leaving a noticeable gap on the bottom while rubbing at the top.
