I guess you get what you pay for here but if they are going to advertise stainless steel, at least it should be stainless steel. These thread adapters are some sort of Alloy or aluminum. I put a magnet to it and it doesn't stick.The threading was nicely done, but that's about it.I would not trust these for use on a barrel under high temp though.

Likewise to many who ordered, I’m another victim of this seller who didn’t read the reviews. Yes this seller is advertising stainless steel but is actually shipping out cheap aluminum.

They thread on wel and everything but I was thinking it was something else. It said threat protector and I lost the protector from my 10/22 takedown. These will work to protect your threads but have threads on the outside and are much heavier than an actual thread protector. It was my fault and not the sellers my old eyes couldn’t tell by the picture it was a different item. If this is what you need I would recommend

I needed these because I wanted to put a 5/8x24 muzzle brake on a 1/2x28 threaded barrel. These can be used with or without the crush washer. The machining was okay, but there was a little bit of grittiness in the threads, which needed to be cleaned off. Overall these worked fine.
