I ordered these shooting blinders because I am left-eye dominant but shoot right-handed. When shooting for long durations, squinting with one eye closed becomes fatiguing and bothersome. The eye patch allows me to keep both eyes open, which makes for a better, more comfortable experience. The package comes with two blinders—one that is wide (1.96â€), and one that is narrow (1.18â€). Both blinders are the same length--about 1.5†long. The blinders are constructed of a plastic/polymer material, and the hinges are made of metal.I prefer the wide blinder to cover my left eye because it completely covers the lens on my eyeglasses. The blinders have rubber pads that clip onto the lenses of eyeglasses or the brim of a hat. I particularly like the plastic box that comes with the blinders because it safely stores them in your pocket to prevent damage when they are not being worn. My favorite feature is the hinge that allows the blinders to flip up out of the way when you wish to see with both eyes.Although there are similar products at lower prices, you sometimes get what you pay for. I am confident with quality and durability of these blinders. Overall, I am satisfied with these blinders and have no problems to report.

When I started shooting firearms, I discovered I was left eye dominant. Since I am right-handed I wanted to see if I can retrain myself.. I got these blinders to place on my protection eyewear so I can readjust eye preference. When I use the left eye blinder and fold it closed to shoot, it forces me to close the proper eye (the left). If I close the right eye I won't be able to see anything. Wearing this blinder on a regular bases, I am training myself to squint with the proper eye when I shoot. So far it has been helpful. I find myself shutting the proper eye when aiming. These blinders come as a pair but I haven't had a need to use the right blinder. They install easily on my shooting glasses.
