These clamps mount securely onto any flat surface like a desk, and are easy to adjust to the thickness of your acrylic stock that you want to insert. It's important to note that the minimum thickness of the material you're mounting these to is approximately ¾", since the securing bolt is only long enough to close down to that thickness. If you need to mount to thinner material like steel, you will need to use a spacer of some kind to make up for the difference. Well made product that should last for years!

These brackets look fine and feel well-made. They are heavy enough to hold the acrylic sheet and make the whole setup stable. I do not use these brackets and acrylic sheet as a sneeze guard shield. I use them to prevent water from the sink from bouncing and landing on our food. With them, I can place our food right next to the sink without fear of contamination.I also use them to cut down the glare of the sun because my desk is right next to a large patio door.These brackets are sturdy and functional, and I recommend them.
