after a long search, I've found what I was looking for. I am familiar with products that you apply suction by using arm's strength but this one sucks the air itself and you let out the already sucked air by pressing. Therefore you cannot control the suction pressure. The button stays pressed when the spring is overwhelmed and that is a low amount of vacuum.

Bought to save wine from getting oxidized. Put it on a half full bottle and a week later it was still holding a vacuum. Wine still tasted great

They have worked great!! I can save a bottle for cooking for at least a week. I’ve never tried for longer but I’m pretty confident it would be fine
