There's just not a lot to be said about hose fittings. They either work or they don't. Fortunately, in this case they do work. They easily threaded into 2-Inch pipe fittings. They fit into 2" lay-flat hose (bit loose). They appear to be generally well made. That pretty much sums it up.

Living in Florida, hurricane preparedness is a must, and having backup sump pumps is part of my plan. These 2" NPT male to hose barb fittings were exactly what I needed to connect my pumps. They're larger than most fittings I've seen, which is perfect for the high-volume output of a sump pump. The black plastic construction seems durable, and the NPT threads screwed smoothly into my 2" PVC fittings. The barbed side provides a secure connection for a hose with a clamp. While there's nothing fancy about them, they do exactly what they're supposed to do, and that's what matters in an emergency situation. If you're looking for reliable fittings for your sump pump setup, I recommend giving these a try.
