These rack rails have threaded holes and no provision for cage nuts. I gotta confess, no cage nuts made me uncomfortable until I smacked myself in the forehead and realized "Wow, I don't have to deal with cage nuts!".These rails are thick and beefy. Thicker than almost all my other rails. That makes sense because the metal has to be thick enough for the threads to be useful. I think these are better than almost every other set of rails I have because of these rails' thickness (strong!!) and threaded holes (useful!).

First and foremost, these rails are really well-made and heavy-duty. And I mean it when I say HEAVY. I love the fact that they arrived with all the hardware needed to install these rails to a cabinet and also all the screws I would need to install rack units to these rails. Just awesome!

How to make a custom rack, buy these, and screws.I often have to build custom under desk racks.And this simple set of rails is perfect for the job.Down side, the screw holes are painted through, so you do need to basically drill the screws in the first time.But after that it is easy to use.

Pretty good quality rails for server and audio equipment. Solid steel with power coating, clear numbering and come with screws. Very decent rails to build your equipment cabinet with. Recommended.
