Needed a flat level sander for a home project using 9" x 3.5" sandpaper. This sander has strong clamps and a nice feeling handle and sands level and is easy to use.

works great !! it holds the paper perfect, the only thing I would like, personally, would be the handle a little bit wider, that is the why I gave 4 stars, I have been working with wood for so many years and honestly this product is the best I have ever work with.

I like it. The clips make it faster and easier to change the paper, and the clips are strong. The handle is padded which makes this feel comfortable in your hand. I take standard sheets of sandpaper cut into three pieces, each piece fits on this sander with a 1/16†overlap on the sides and about 1†left for clipping on the end ,, those dimensions work well for holding the paper. I’ll buy another one once I lose this one or the foam on the handle wears off. For the first few months it has been durable after about 50 hours of sanding

I had a 3M hand sander and every time I started sanding one end of the paper would slip out. I am stripping 30 year old wall paper covered with 3 layers of paint and the walls under this mess have to be skim coated and I have a lot of edges around trim and doors. Constantly having to stop sanding and reattach the end of the paper was making me a very mean person, not to mention after the paper would slip the sander would gouge the wall. Before I had a nervous breakdown I ordered this hand sander. I hear angels singing! What a difference. Reasonably priced and holds the sandpaper sheets tight. I definitely recommend this sander. I'm ordering a second sander for my paint box so I will have one and a backup although I don't see this sander failing.

It’s a well made product and it works as it should. I recommend it. The only disappointment is Amazon’s delivery time. I have a Prime account, yet it took them 5 days to ship it from Arizona to NC. I could’ve rode a bus to AZ, picked it up and returned home faster than that. Prime has become a joke. 5 years ago Bezos was experimenting with same-day delivery via drone, but now apparently he doesn’t care how long it takes. Regardless of what it is, all you get is the same flimsy bs excuse about why they can’t deliver it any faster. They can, they just don’t care anymore. I doubt I’ll renew my Prime, why bother? It’s become a waste of money.

I like the texture and density of the foam on the sanding pad. And love the texture and density of the foam on the handle. The little levers used to attach the sandpaper have the perfect amount of spring tension and are easily adjustable.

This was one of the few sanding blocks I found which would accept 3.6" x 9" sandpaper. This matches the size paper I can easily get in very fine grits. The handle is comfortable to use for long periods. The two spring clips hold the paper very securely however the release lever requires very high force to open the clip. I'll probably just get a couple more of these to reduce the number of grit changes required.
