Worked very well for several nail holes. Nice to not have drywall dust everywhere

Works as expected. Good for small jobs. Mine was to patch a 2x2 opening. The sponge stayed rigid enough to knock down the high spots in the mud. And using water with the sponge definitely sped up the smoothing process and eliminated any sanding dust. However, if this were a bigger job I don’t think it would have held up as the abrasive side started falling apart.

This works great if you take the time to learn how to use it.

Odd that in middle of large city can only find one similar at Janovic Plaza, no other hardware or paint store, that is almost as good as this one.

Great sponge for wet sanding. This was my first attempt at wet sanding but I will definitely use try this method again. I was a little skeptical when I opened the box and felt how soft the coarse side was, but it did a fine job and seems to have plenty of life left after the job. Also, I had no problems with it getting clogged up & was able to quickly wring it out to get a fresh start as needed.

The sponge is heavy duty, but the scrubber is only good for light duty as it disintegrates as you scrub.

I had multiple nail pops in my living room that I fixed before painting. Using this two sided sponge was a great way to sand the patches smooth won’t out spackle dust everywhere.

I s not so good for the sanding part, but it is great for wiping down after sanding. And while wiping down if you find a small blemish you can then use the sanding side to fix the small stuff

This is the second time I have ordered one of these.Being able to soak the sponge and then use either side for removing nibs or cleaning prior to painting is very handy and makes much less of a mess than trying to achieve the same with sandpaper. The first one I used, I wore out the rough side trying to use it like sandpaper. That won't work and it isn't designed for that level of material removal. So long as you understand when it is appropriate to use, this will serve you well.A tip that I have learned is to clean the wall and paint it before trying to patch any defects in the plaster, otherwise is makes far more mess and some defects can be sorted with multiple paint applications (such as rough areas that haven't been completely polished as plaster has been drying). If you follow this tip and sand plaster paint, do not oversaturate the wall because you will end up with uneven areas in the paintwork where drips have taken paint away and left valleys (the last thing you want if you have had the walls skimmed to make them level).
